Award-Winning, Katatra Vasquez, is a history enthusiast who has a passion for revealing the stories and contributions of the historically unknown to connect and inspire people (especially kiddos) with her believe, belong, and become it concept. She is a native of Dayton, Ohio, but presently resides in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. A graduate of Tuskegee University, her public service career as an environmental scientist and historic preservation specialist has spanned for over 20 years. She has been recognized several times for her work in protecting American spaces for future generations. She is the author of Atomic Hope: Our Words and Our Spaces and the Josie's Hope books. She is also the Founder of Atomic Hope Historic Preservation and Tourism Company and a boutique Publishing House, Prolific by Design.
Various Presentations on inclusivity, hope in the intersection of science and history are offered for your specific audience.
